A woman who died after she was hit by a vehicle in Kinross-shire has been named locally as Kim Clark.

The 46-year-old pedestrian died in the collision in South Street, Milnathort, at 1pm on Tuesday.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of the collision but news of her death has shocked the small town.

Floral tributes have been left to Ms Clark at the scene of the accident outside Restoration & Renovation (Scotland) Ltd.

Ms Clark ran the business with her husband Stephen.

The company is to be closed for the rest of the week due to bereavement, it announced on its Facebook page.

Messages of support have also been offered online.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland's Tayside Division said it is still "making inquires" into the circumstances. Anyone with any information that could help police can contact 101.
