Police probe suspicious death of man at Indian takeaway

A man has died after a disturbance at an Indian takeaway in Aberdeenshire.
The emergency services were called to the Mirchi Tandoori in Mintlaw at around 5.30pm on Monday, after reports that a man had collapsed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and police say they are treating his death as suspicious.
A police spokesman said: "At 5.35pm on Monday, April 12, police and ambulance attended at a commercial premises in Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire, to reports of a man having collapsed following a disturbance.
"Sadly he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police Scotland are treating the death as suspicious."
He said that inquiries were at an early stage and that no details of the victim would be released until next of kin was informed.
