Two dead as Philadelphia train hits digger and derails
More than 300 people injured on Amtrak train en route from New York to Savannah, Georgia.
Two people were killed when a passenger train derailed in Philadelphia on Sunday.
US rail service Amtrak said the train, en route from New York to Savannah, Georgia, struck a digger, causing the lead engine to come off the tracks.
In addition to the fatalities, some of the 341 passengers were treated for injuries.
The Northeast Corridor between New York and Philadelphia is currently suspended.
