ITV News' Geraint Vincent reports

Prince Harry has visited a national park in Nepal to see how the country is trying to save its tiger population from poachers.

Harry ventured deep into the waterways and forests of Nepal to indulge his love of the great outdoors.

The Nepalese are trying to save one of the world's most endangered species in Bardiya National Park from poachers.

The prince helped test a system which helps monitor the number and movements of tigers in the park.

Just a few years ago there were only 18 tigers left in the park but the army has been deployed to deter the poachers.

The number of tigers in the park has almost tripled.

Harry also visited some of the country's most remote villages and received a warm welcome with dancing and music.
