Woman accused of putting special needs pupil in headlock
Staff member also accused of kicking boy, dragging him along floor and grabbing his body.
A member of staff at a special needs school is to stand trial accused of putting a pupil in a headlock.
Audrey MacGilvray is alleged to have assaulted the child, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on October 27 last year.
The 48-year-old is accused of kicking the pupil, dragging him across the floor and grabbing his body.
She is further alleged to have attempted to pull the pupil from the floor and placed him in a headlock to his injury.
MacGilvray, from Dundee, denied a charge of assault to injury on summary complaint during a pre-trial hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
The incident is alleged to have taken place at the school in Tayside on October 27 last year.
MacGilvray was due to stand trial later this month but on Monday the trial was adjourned until late June, with the accused ordered to appear at a pre-trial hearing earlier that month.
