A carefree pensioner showed off her moves as she danced in the street with buskers in Brighton.

The elderly woman in the pink coat abandoned her trolley to groove along to the sound of buskers playing Twist and Shout, which was famously covered by The Beatles.

A video of her dancing has been viewed more than 1.8 million times and been shared more than 25,000 times online.

The crowd of bystanders joined in and soon many were dancing in the street.

The man dressed in yellow, thought to be a street performer, swayed to the music while another tapped the ground with a drumstick.
