Join Jonathan Ross this weekend as he chats to two of Hollywood’s biggest film stars, Richard Gere and Jack Black.*Richard, star of iconic movies such as An Officer and a Gentleman, Chicago and Pretty Woman, is co-starring with Jack in new film Jackal.

Jack, who has been the star of three Kung Fu Panda movies, joked that Richard - who’s never done an animated movie - could be in “Kung Fu Four”!

Talking about his most famous roles, Richard shared the story of meeting Julia Roberts and the reason he decided to take the role of Edward Lewis.

As it happens, it was Julia who persuaded him to take the role - he describes her as an “extraordinary person”. But any fan of the movie could tell you that!

He also shared an amazing story from filming the role of a homeless person in New York, where a French tourist offered him help and food, unaware that it was him.

Jack Black joined the sofa and talked American politics, saying about Trump versus Clinton; “the entertainment level is so high, you’re playing with fire”.

The newest Kung Fu Panda movie inspired him to challenge Jonathan - in the film, Jack’s character stuffs as many dumplings into his mouth as he can, and they recreate this using marshmallows!

Jonathan is also joined by Motown legend Berry Gordy, who spoke about working with the greats such as Stevie Wonder, the Jackson 5 and Marvin Gaye, as well as rising comedy star Roisin Conaty who talked about being mistaken for Adele.

Tune in on Saturday March 5 at 9.30pm on STV!
