Beowulf returns on Sunday night, and this week he’s embroiled in a love triangle! Will he let his feelings cloud his judgement?

As Beowulf grapples with the revelation of Elvina’s secret, he knows he’s fallen in love with her.

He feels betrayed, and his conflicted feelings are heightened by the news that Slean knew the truth about her past but loved, and still loves her!

Can Beowulf and Elvina survive, and close the gulf that now separates them?

For now however, the most pressing issue is Herot’s defences - a matter made all the more urgent when Rheda leaves to visit her brother Abrecan in Bregan.

She is confronted with the alarming revelation that a large Wulfing army is headed for Herot, knowing that whoever takes the seat in the Iron town controls the wealth of the Shieldlands.

Can she rely on Abrecan’s support, or is Herot in serious trouble?
