Tea for a Tenner: Chilli Paneer

Delicious and explosive flavours on tonight's Tea for a Tenner. That's right Bindi is back in the kitchen cooking up some of her mouth-watering food
Have a go and try this extremely delicious and easy chilli paneer recipe, you won't be sorry.
Ingredients
- 200 to 250 grams paneer/cottage cheese, cubed-2 tbsp corn flour
For sauce
- 1 medium onion, quartered and separated in squares
- 1 small to medium capsicum, cut in squares
- 1 inch ginger, finely chopped or ½ tbsp finely chopped ginger
- 7 finely chopped or ½ tbsp finely chopped garlic
- 3 to 4 green chillies, sliced vertically
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp green chilli sauce
- 1 tsp sweet red chilli sauce
- 2 tsp tamarind sauce
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 3 tbs sesame oil
- 4 tbs sesame seeds
Method
Slice the paneer into small cubes or rectangles keep aside in a mixing bowl.
For marinating and pan frying the paneer
Add 2 tbsp corn flour to the paneer cubes and mix well.
Heat 2 tbsp of sesame oil in a non stick pan. When the oil is medium hot, place the paneer cubes in the pan. When the base is slightly cooked until golden brown, flip over to do the same or you deep fry the paneer cubes if you want. Then place the pan fried paneer cubes in a plate.
In another small bowl, add 1 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of green chilli sauce, 1 tsp of sweet red chilli sauce, 2 tsp of tamarind sauce, 2 tsp of ketchup and mix well.
In a pan add sesame oil wait until it's hot and then add sesame seeds.
Add the finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and then stir.
After add the onion and capsicum squares.
On a medium flame, stir fry till the edges of the onions and capsicum become golden brown.
Add all the sauces and stir very well.
Lastly add the fried paneer cubes into the mix and stir.
Garnish with some coriander leaves or spring onion greens before serving. This dish is best served hot.
