A teenager has been charged in connection with explosives offences after a property was searched by police.
The 17-year-old boy was held by officers after they recovered material during a search of a property in Troon Court, Dundee, on Monday.
He has been charged with offences under the Explosive Substances Act and is expected to appear at the city's sheriff court on Wednesday.
A force spokesman said: "Police Scotland can confirm that a 17 year old man has been charged with offences under the Explosive Substances Act following a search of an address in Troon Court in Dundee on Monday 29 February.
"A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and he is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court today, Wednesday 2 March.
"Tayside Division would like to reassure the public that in the circumstances there was no immediate threat to any members of the public, nor is there cause for wider concern in the community."
