A fitness fanatic has mapped out a marriage proposal using GPS tracking during his run.

Martin Rolfe, 28, mapped out the words "will you marry me" over the course of eight miles using a GPS tracker app.

His partner Fatma Turk uploaded the results from his watch to the computer and said yes to the proposal.

He's planning to set a date with the 26-year-old as soon as they complete the purchase of their first house together.

Martin, from Worthing, West Sussex, said he timed the run around his home town after their anniversary, to throw her off the scent.

Fatma and Martin celebrated their two-year anniversary on Friday.

Martin also surprised Fatma by asking her to marry him in her native Turkish.

Fatma said she was thrilled Martin proposed in such a special way.
