Mr Selfridge penultimate episode preview: Harry shocked to his core
It should be a time of celebration for Harry and the Selfridge’s gang, but there’s a dodgy deal afoot and the press are all over it. Will Harry be able to get out of this one?
We’re almost at the end of the road for Mr Selfridge but there’s plenty of drama to enjoy in the penultimate episode of the hit series.
Preparations are afoot to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the store’s opening, with Harry gaining special permission to put on a parade along Oxford Street.
Behind closed doors though, he’s struggling to break the suppliers’ embargo for his new project – Whiteley’s.
When they realise that the store is about to run out of stock in three days, drastic times call for drastic measures – borrow the goods from Selfridges.
Crabb points out that it’s tantamount to stealing; however he knows what the store’s closure could mean for Harry.
He reluctantly agrees, enlisting the help of George Towler to covertly move the excess stock.
But what will happen when Mr Keen inadvertently stumbles upon what they’re up to? Chaos, that’s what.
And Harry is about to learn something that will shock him to his core.
What is it? Tune in tonight (Friday March 4) from 9pm to find out.
