Mars chocolate recall widens to supermarket multipacks
Lidl has issued a notice to customers warning them not to eat multipacks of Mars and Snickers.
The budget supermarket Lidl issued a recall notice for multipacks of Mars and Snickers chocolate over fears they could be contaminated with plastic.
It has warned customers not to eat some six-packs bought at the store, which were supplied from Germany.
Anyone who has bought one of the affected packs has been asked and to contact a freephone number for a refund.
Mars announced it was a ordering a mass recall as after a consumer in Germany found a small piece of plastic in a Snickers bar earlier this month.
