The People’s Projects gives you the chance to decide how National Lottery funding can make a difference in your local area.

This year, nearly 100 local community projects and organisations from our Local News Regions across the UK have been shortlisted and will go to the public vote with a chance of winning up to £50,000.

Since 2005 when the initiative was known as The People’s Millions, around 600 National Lottery grants worth £30 Million have been awarded to community causes across the UK.

Voting will be open for two weeks from 9am on the February 29, 2016 until noon on the March 13, 2016 and one project will be featured each day during our evening Regional News programmes throughout the first week.
