Corrie preview (Mon Feb 29): bitter battle for the bistro, Marta shocks Eva
Robert and Leanne do battle in the bid to buy the bistro, but who will Nick pick? And will Carla’s underhand tactics pay off? Elsewhere on Corrie on Monday February 29, Eva’s shocked to learn the O’Driscolls kept Marta as a slave.
Just who will secure the purchase of the bistro in Coronation Street? That’s the big question on Monday February 29.
Nick mulls over both Leanne and Robert’s offers, leaving Carla filled with dread. But when Ritchie calls into Underworld and transfers £30K into their account as a down payment on his order, her ears prick up.
Taking £10K of it, she hands Tracy the cash so she can secure the eatery. But with Nick confiding in Carla he’d rather sell to Leanne, will her actions go to plan?
And what will Carla say when Johnny confronts her about the missing money?
Elsewhere, Marta’s clearly not well, but when Eva tries to get her to go to the doctor she refuses and later makes a run for it when Aidan comes to the flat.
Bethany fails to show up for the school parents’ evening, and Sarah is shocked to learn she’s been bunking off school for some time now.
Mary knocks back the cocktails on a girly night out with Erica and Liz, and later when she gets home leaves Erica and Dev both red faced when she drunkenly goes on about how they clearly both fancy each other. Could she be right?
And Eva’s shocked when she finally tracks Eva down with a little help from Billy, and they learn that Underworld’s business contacts the O’Driscolls kept her as a slave and confiscated her passport. What action will they take next?
Tune into Corrie at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on STV on Monday February 29.
