A police appeal has been issued after two 15-year-olds went missing.

Julia Harvey and Liam Elston were last seen together in Kirkcaldy in Fife at around 4.30pm on Monday. They are believed to have travelled elsewhere in Fife or to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Officers are liaising with bus companies and the rail network to try to establish where they may have gone. Anyone who knows of their current whereabouts is asked to come forward.

Police are also asking if Liam or Julia can get in touch with family or friends as soon as possible to let them know they are safe.
