Police drop inquiry into John Leslie sex assault claims
Officers say they will take 'no further action' into the claims against the Scots ex-TV presenter.
Police have confirmed they have dropped an inquiry into sexual assault claims against former TV presenter John Leslie.
The Edinburgh radio host was questioned in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a 22-year-old woman in the capital last year.
A police spokeswoman said on Tuesday: "Police in Edinburgh have concluded their enquiries into a report of sexual assault between the evening of Thursday, November 19 and the morning of Friday, November 20 2015.
"No further police action will be taken at this time.
"If new information is received in connection with this report it will be assessed and investigated appropriately."
Speaking earlier this week, Mr Leslie said the allegations had had a major impact on his family and his career.
