Hotel owners have been urged to check if a vulnerable missing man is staying with them.
Roderick McClymont was last seen at around 11.50pm on Saturday near the Royal Hotel in Tain, Highlands.
The 66-year-old suffers from a medical condition and police have raised concerns for his well-being.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "Searches remain ongoing for Roderick McClymont who was last seen at around 11:50pm on Saturday.
"It is possible that Roderick may be residing within a hotel in the Highlands and unaware of the current search activity so it is requested that local B&B owners and hoteliers check to see if anyone fitting Roderick's description is staying within their accommodation.
"Police would be grateful if residents in the Invergordon and Tain area to check outbuildings and sheds and report anything that may assist the ongoing search efforts."
Mr McClymont is around 5ft 3in, with slim build. He has balding, grey-brown hair and a full beard. He was wearing a navy baseball cap, a blue coat and light brown boots when last seen.
