A baby who was unable to tell which of two identical twin brothers was his father has been watched millions of times online.

The video shows young Reed, from New York, passed between dad Stephen Ratpojanakul, wearing grey, and uncle Michael, in a checked shirt.

Each time he is passed over to one, he looks to the other before pointing and saying: "Dada".

The clip, originally posted to Facebook, has been viewed more than 12 million times at the time of writing.

After the video went viral, Stephen told Buzzfeed: "A lot of commenters have said things like ‘he’s so confused’ and ‘poor baby,’ but I promise Reed was having fun—he’s the happiest baby I’ve ever seen."

It gets more confusing for Reed - his mum Carroll is also a twin. However, Stephen added that when they tried the same test with his aunt,he passed with "flying colours".
