A father has told how his family's Christmas dinner was ruined when they were sent "revenge porn" videos of one of his daughters.

Clive Weatherhogg is standing trial accused of coercing a woman into having sex with a man he found over the internet, making them film their liaisons and then sending the videos to the woman's family over Christmas 2014.

On Monday, the woman's father told a jury at Dundee Sheriff Court that he, his daughters and his grandchildren had gathered on Christmas Day 2014 for dinner at an address in Fife.

But just as they went to sit down to their festive feast one of his other daughters received a text message containing a video of the victim having sex with Edward Amobi.

Mr Amobi earlier told the trial how Weatherhogg had set up a string of hotel liaisons between him and the victim.

The father of the victim, aged 69, who cannot be named to protect his daughter's identity, told the court the mood at the dinner was already "subdued" as it was the family's first Christmas since the death of his wife.

He said: "All the family were there. We were just about to sit down for our meal when one of my daughters got a text with the video.

"She told [the victim] about it and the girls all went to a room. She was very upset, but they managed to keep what it was about from the children.

"Some people didn't eat any Christmas dinner after that. My daughter [the victim] was crying. The kids knew something was going on but not what exactly.

"The police were called and came out on Boxing Day."

Fiscal depute Nicola Gillespie asked the man: "How would you describe your Christmas then?"

He said: "Not the best I've had anyway."

Ms Gillespie said: "What did you think of the fact he showed that video?"

He said: "It's disgusting."

Earlier the trial heard from Edward Amobi, 40, who told how Weatherhogg set up a string of sex sessions between him and the victim at hotels in south east England over the period of a year.

A jury heard a string of extraordinary allegations, including that Weatherhogg wanted the pair to video call him during one of their meetings and that when Mr Amobi turned down the suggestion of a threesome, he asked for a video of the session.

Married Mr Amobi added that Weatherhogg was so desperate to be in the room while they had sex that he offered to be "tied to a chair" during a romp.

He added that he had later discovered a text on his wife's phone from "Clive Cuckold" informing Mr Amobi's wife of his romps with the woman.

In her evidence the woman said she felt "blackmailed" by Weatherhogg into having sex with Mr Amobi.

Weatherhogg, 42, of Balmalcolm, by Cupar, in Fife, pleaded not guilty on indictment to three charges under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act, one under the Communications Act and one of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.

The coercion is said to have taken place between September 10, 2013, and September 17, 2014, at addresses in Kent and Fife.

The videos were allegedly sent on December 22 and December 25, 2014, at addresses in north east Fife.

The jury trial, before Sheriff George Way, continues.
