He’s been referred to as ‘the nicest man in comedy’ and he certainly lived up to that title when he took his audience - yes, all 240 of them - bowling after his show in Barnstaple. Crikey!

And now Adam Hills has promised to surprise three or four more audiences on his tour with the same treat. No backing out now he’s said it on national television...

Adam talked about where the inspiration for this tour came from, including his five-year-old daughter and a friend who was suffering from cancer, who wanted to "laugh in the face of cancer".

Because laughing in the face of tough situations is what Adam does - especially disability, which is why his show The Last Leg has done so well.

Antics on the show included Adam setting fire to his prosthetic leg (which was painted in Australian colours) after Australia lost at the Ashes. The leg then ended up setting a stagehand on fire!

“He was fine!” laughed the Australian comic.

Check out the video to get a look at his new prosthesis - a fancy blade which now means he can hop on his right leg, something which he happily demonstrates...
