Michelle Connor will face a bit of an awkward encounter when her first love turns up in Weatherfield this spring – booking her services as a wedding planner!

She’s shocked to realise her new client Will is actually an old flame from her teenage years. And it seems that old flame could soon be reignited...

With Steve still over in Spain helping out brother Andy, Michelle is left running the pub and helping with Steve’s daughter Amy, all while trying to run her own business.

And it soon becomes clear there could be some unfinished business between Michelle and Will, as they’re thrown together during the planning of the wedding.

Can they avoid temptation? Or will they both of their own relationships by letting old feelings take over?

Leon Ockenden, best known for his roles in Waterloo Road and Mr Selfridge, has been cast as the charming ex-boyfriend.
