Teenager fails to return home after night out with her friends
Annesah Qayyum, 19, was last seen in licensed premises in Glasgow early on Sunday morning.
A 19-year-old woman has gone missing after she disappeared on a night out with friends.
Annesah Qayyum was last seen in Glasgow city centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Ms Qayyum, from the city's Govanhill area, was last seen in a licensed premises on Sauchiehall Street at around 2.30am on Sunday. She then became separated from her friends and failed to return home the next day.
She is described as having olive skin, a slim build, long brown hair with a red tint and is around 5ft 4in. She usually wears two nose studs, one in each side.
She was wearing a short black dress with black ankle boots with a small heel. The coat she was wearing is described as a black faux fur with cream and dark brown ends. She was also carrying a black and cream purse.
Sergeant David Connor, based at Cathcart police office, said: "Annesah has never been missing before and it is unlike her to be gone for this length of time without contacting friends or family. There is mounting concern for her wellbeing at this time.
"Officers have been speaking to local businesses and analysing available CCTV in an effort to trace Annesah safe and well.
"One line of inquiry is that that Annesah may have travelled to a property in the Renfrew area, however, this is still to be confirmed.
"If anyone has any information as to the whereabouts of Annesah, I would ask that you contact Police at Cathcart via the 101 number."
