Growing concern for vulnerable man missing from home since Tuesday
Peter Murray's family say it is out of character for the 56-year-old from Knightswood to disappear.
Concern is growing for a vulnerable man who has gone missing from his home on the outskirts of Glasgow.
Peter Murray, 56, was last seen at Ramilies Court in Clydebank close to where he works at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
His family say it is out of character for him to disappear without getting in touch with them.
Mr Murray lives in the Knightswood area and when he was last seen he was wearing a black leather jacket, a grey jumper and black trousers.
He is described as white, approximately 5ft 5in, of stocky build with dark curly hair.
Inspector Kenny Darroch, from Kirkintilloch Police office, said: "It is unlike Peter to disappear without contacting friends and family. They are understandably anxious that he is disappeared in this manner and there is growing concern for his wellbeing.
"Our focus is to trace Peter safe and well. Officers are currently searching for Peter across Clydebank and Knightswood.
"We are checking available CCTV and contacting staff in local businesses to assist with the search.
"At this time we seek assistance from the public in locating Peter and bringing him home safely to his family.
"If anyone has any information as to his whereabouts, please contact officers at Kirkintilloch police office immediately on the 101 number."
