There were no winners in Wednesday night's record-breaking Lotto draw.
There were no winners in Wednesday night's record-breaking Lotto draw, with the UK's biggest ever prize going unclaimed.
The result means the jackpot rolls over to Saturday, when there will be an estimated prize of £57.8 million.
An estimated £50.4m was up for grabs in Wednesday's draw.
A Camelot spokeswoman said: "There are no jackpot winners so it has rolled over to Saturday.
"The estimated jackpot for Saturday is £57.8m which has to be won."
If no one matches all six numbers on Saturday, then the jackpot will be shared among the winners in the next prize tier, potentially creating several multi-millionaires.
The numbers drawn on Wednesday were 57, 30, 50, 40, 8, 54 and the bonus ball was 13.
Earlier, people trying to check their numbers online for the record-breaking Lotto jackpot were left frustrated after the National Lottery website struggled to cope with the high demand.
Operator Camelot said it was expecting to sell 200 tickets a second during the hour before the the draw.
But online users were unable to check their numbers after the draw as the website was down.
Users had also been able to buy last-minute tickets online as the site struggled with demand in the hours leading up to the draw.
A statement on the website said: "Please bear with us. We're extremely busy at the moment.
"Our online services are temporarily unavailable due to exceptionally high levels of traffic to the site.
"Sorry about that - please do try again shortly."
Many people also complained on Twitter that they were unable to log in.
A Camelot spokesman said the issue with the site had been resolved and that people just needed to keep trying to log in.
He said: "The log in process is just a bit slower than normal."
