Motorist in hospital with head injury after two-vehicle road crash

A motorist is in hospital with a suspected head injury after a two-vehicle Highland road crash.
The man was taken to Raigmore Hospital following the incident on the Black Isle at 11am on Monday.
Another man and a woman travelling in the other car were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
An air ambulance was dispatched but it was stood down before it arrived at the scene of the crash near the Munlochy junction on the A832.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "The A832 is currently closed following a serious road traffic collision which was reported just after 11am this morning.
"Emergency services including the police, fire and ambulance were in attendance at the location approximately two-and-a-half miles east of the Munlochy junction."
He added: "One male was taken by road ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with a suspected head injury.
"A male and a female travelling in the other car were treated at the scene."
